Famitsu has confirmed that one of the most anticipated RPG’s, Final Fantasy Type-0 will get a demo in Japan. The magazine didn’t say when the demo would be avaliable, but it did reveal that it would be a free download. The demo will be called “Natsubi”.

 

The official Japanese website for the PSP game Final Fantasy Type-0 has been updated with a few gameplay videos showing off some gameplay systems. This video above shows the basic battle gameplay.

If you were looking forward to picking up a Japanese copy of Final Fantasy Type-0 this summer, I have some bad news. Square Enix has decided to delay the new PSP game until sometime this fall. This doesn’t mean too much for non-Japanese gamers, as the game hasn’t even been announced for any territory outside of Japan. In addition to this disappointing news, we also have some new information on the title.

Its no secret: RPG fans want Final Fantasy Type-0 to release outside of Japan. The game looks to be one of the most impressive games for the PSP. It may even be the most impressive game. Square Enix has certainly put a lot of effort into this game, and it would be a shame for the rest of the world not to see it. Yoshinori Kitase has commented on the sitaution, but he doesn’t offer a lot of confidence.
