Despite the horrendous reception from early Final Fantasy XIV players, Square Enix is still trying to rework their MMORPG to make it something Final Fantasy fans will love. According to a recent interview, that includes support for PlayStation Vita and smartphones. During an interview with RPG Site, Producer & Director Naoki Yoshida revealed that the company is looking to expand support for the game over multiple platforms in the form of apps for portable devices. These apps would enable the player to manage certain aspects of the game such as their inventory.

Do you want some low quality gameplay videos without sound that do no justice to the beautiful 3DS RPG Bravely Default: Flying Fairy? Of course you do, and Square Enix has given us just that. Any glimpse at this game is nice, but I would have preferred the video to have sound. If you want to listen to a track from the game you should make your way to the official website which has been updated with these videos. Two other videos now featured on the site include a look at the bar and the AR portion of the game.

The latest issue of Famitsu magazine in Japan revealed some information on the new Kingdom Hearts game for the 3DS. Tetsuya Nomura revealed that Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance is 40-50% complete. Apparently Nomura was dropping some hints about the game in Famitsu, but they seem really cryptic. Andriasang wrote that Nomura said, “XXX and XXX in Traverse Town!” It’s supposed to be surprising so prepare to be surprised, I guess!

It sounds like this game will add more crazy to the series’ already convoluted story as it’s supposed to be at least partly about the “data” hidden inside Sora. Yeah…

We’ve seen that Sora and Riku appear to be more acrobatic in this game, and Andriasang writes that you’ll be able to get up on rooftops. Wasn’t it already possible to do that though? I guess this game will be more focused on platforming and climbing, perhaps.
